As part of our commitment to continue to build an inclusive culture and tackle racial inequality, we established a ColourBrave Charity Committee in 2020, made up of people from across the firm. Their role is to help allocate grants and develop volunteering opportunities to increase our support for Black-led social enterprises, as well as charities with Black and ethnic minority beneficiaries. We are currently working with 13 organisations, and have supported 30 organisations since 2020.
In October 2021, we were able to bring a number of participants together for the first time in person. Find out more about the event and the first year of our initiative in this short film.
These organisations offer a vast range of services for a variety of different beneficiaries across many different regions. You can find out more about them below.

In October 2021, we installed our unique piece of abstract mosaic art in the client space of our office at Embankment Place London. This collaborative artwork was designed by the London School of Mosaics, a social enterprise we have worked with on our Social Entrepreneurs Club programme for a number of years. It was created by volunteers from our People Networks and our ColourBrave Charity initiative organisations. The artwork aims to capture the essence of our people, networks and communities. Watch our film to find out more about its creation.

In February 2022 we held a reception and panel discussion at the Old Vic with Lennie James and Paapa Essiedu, actors in Caryl Churchill’s gripping drama A Number. We involved our multicultural and diversity networks, and London Colourbrave charities, in an inspiring discussion about diversity and inclusion, and the role of the arts in making positive changes in society.
Our partnership with The Old Vic is one way in which we support the arts, and in particular support The Old Vic’s mission to inspire a new audience and widen access to world-class theatre. Each season we make 17,500 seats across our preview performances available for just £10, available to anyone and everyone. It is one of the few ticket initiatives within the arts sector with no criteria for access which genuinely inspires a new audience to experience the joy and power of theatre.
