CK Acquisitions Limited

On 28 March 2023, Zelf Hussain and Rachael Wilkinson of PwC were appointed as Joint Administrators of CK Acquisitions Limited trading as Cath Kidston.

On appointment, the Joint Administrators completed a sale of the brand, website and intellectual property of CK Acquisitions Limited to Next Retail Limited. 

Cath Kidston is an e-commerce led, international home furnishing and lifestyle retail brand with headquarters in London, focussing on quintessentially British handicraft and vintage themed items.

The Joint Administrators will be working to implement a smooth wind down of the remaining business and to sell the Company’s stock and other assets for the benefit of the Company’s creditors, primarily through the existing store portfolios and the Cath Kidston website for a short period of time. All current customer orders will be fulfilled.

Rachael Wilkinson and Zelf Hussain have been appointed as Joint Administrators of CK Acquisitions Limited to manage its affairs, business and property as its agents and act without personal liability. All are licensed in the United Kingdom to act as an insolvency practitioner by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. The Joint Administrators may act as controllers of personal data as defined by UK data protection law depending upon the specific processing activities undertaken. PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP may act as a processor on the instructions of the Joint Administrators.
