Ben is based in Manchester and leads PwC’s Tax Dispute Network in the regions.
Having started his career as a corporation tax inspector at HMRC, Ben moved into practice in 2006 and has specialised in helping clients manage all aspects of their relationship with HMRC, both contentious and non-contentious, ever since.
Ben works with clients of all different sizes and segments, from individuals to large corporates. He uses his detailed knowledge of HMRC’s compliance powers, policies and procedures, to help clients drive value from all of their interactions with the tax authorities.
Having gained significant experience working across a broad range of tax disputes, Ben has a particular specialism in developing innovative strategies to help conclude long running HMRC enquiries. He often works with external professional firms to ensure their clients can benefit from his experience and insight.
