Real Estate Deals Partner, PwC United Kingdom

Ben is a Partner in our Real Estate Lead Advisory team within Deals. Based in London, he is the leader of our Real Estate and Capital Equipment Valuations teams in the UK. His experience is broad and over the course of the last 15 years he has worked in a variety of roles and teams across our Deals business, including Corporate Finance, Restructuring, Transaction Services and, more recently, Valuations. From a sector perspective, he has focused on Financial Services and Real Estate throughout his career.

Our Real Estate Lead Advisory practice specialises in providing strategic, financial and commercial advice on real estate at the highest levels in both public and private sector occupiers / organisations, private equity and with investors/ developers and land owners. This includes M&A advice, strategic options analysis, financing and investment structuring expertise across all real estate sectors. As the UK Real Estate Valuations leader within this, Ben leads a team that comprises Chartered Surveyors and other valuations experts. Collectively they cover a range of areas including direct investments and debt backed by real estate. His clients include private equity, real estate and sovereign wealth funds, developers, banks and operating companies.

Ben's broader experience includes providing lead sell-side advisory, diligence and valuation advice on credit related transactions. This included loan portfolio sales (performing and NPLs), forward flow partnerships across a range of asset classes including commercial real estate, residential mortgages, shipping and aviation assets along with lending to corporates.

He previously advised on the Lehman Brothers Administration in Europe, in particular in relation to commercial real estate assets, residential mortgage whole-loan and securitised assets. Ben is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants (ICAEW).
