Global Corporate Sustainability Managing Director, PricewaterhouseCoopers International Limited
Bethan is a Managing Director in PwC's Global Corporate Sustainability team, specialising in international development. She has a particular focus on women’s economic empowerment, supporting multi-nationals to enhance opportunities for women across their global value chains. She works at the forefront of public-private collaboration to increase the development impact of commercial business models. She has worked with diverse clients including DFID, the World Bank, Oxfam America, The Coca-Cola Company, SABMiller and the GSMA. She spent a year as an adviser to the World Economic Forum on Corporate Global Citizenship. She is currently working as part of the Fund Manager team for DFID’s Girls’ Education Challenge, a programme to help up to a million of the world’s poorest girls improve their lives through education. Bethan is PwC UK’s representative to the Global Business Coalition for Education and a member of the UN Global Compact’s Poverty Footprint Advisory Group.
