Claire is the PwC UK Tax Leader and prior to joining the UK Management Board, she was the Listed and Inbound Market Leader for Tax and a member of the Tax Leadership Team.
Claire is a member of PwC’s UK Management Board, where she holds the position of UK Tax Leader, which includes leadership of PwC UK’s Tax, Legal and Workforce practices. Claire has over 20 years of experience as a Tax professional, specialising in Transfer Pricing and the tax implications of business model change. Prior to taking on this role, Claire was the Listed and Inbound Market Leader for Tax. Between 2018 and 2020 Claire undertook a Chief of Staff role for PwC’s Senior Partner, alongside a role leading PwC’s Strategic Change Programmes, working with the Executive Board of PwC UK. Claire has been a partner in PwC since 2011.
Claire began her career with KPMG in Audit after having completed her Commerce degree at the University of Melbourne. Claire joined PwC Australia in 2001 and PwC UK in 2004. Claire is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) and also holds membership of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CA ANZ).
