David Morris

David is the Regional Market Lead for PwC Midlands, overseeing the strategy and growth of the Birmingham, East Midlands and Milton Keynes practices, and is also a Mental Health Advocate.

Prior to this, David held the role of UK Health Services Sector Team Leader, who provide support to NHS and private sector health clients. He worked with organisations to manage their financial and operational challenges through change leadership, taking interim board roles and applying his public and private sector restructuring expertise.

He has market leading expertise in public and private sector health having led some of the most complex change programmes in the sector which has included advising boards, regulators and central government.

He has written number of high profile thought leadership pieces including most recently:

• Making Money Work - exploring the critical changes needed to make money flow better in the health sector
• Tech powered healthcare - exploring how technology can be harnessed to advance healthcare delivery

Before joining PwC, David was a nurse working in the UK and overseas providing clinical expertise to the pharmaceutical industry as well as delivering hands on care in an acute medical setting.
