David is an indirect tax specialist who has been recognised for the expert advice he provides to clients on all types of indirect tax related disputes and litigation. David is experienced in pursuing cases before all levels of domestic and courts, as well as before the Court of Justice of the European Union. David leads one of the largest indirect tax disputes teams in the United Kingdom which has over 25 dedicated indirect tax lawyers and disputes specialists.
David has over 30 years’ experience of advice and litigation in all indirect taxes beginning his career within HM Customs and Excise Solicitor’s Office, as it then was. He has led many litigation engagements in all industry areas, including telecommunications, manufacturing, financial services, imports/exports, transport, social housing, waste management and construction.
