Emma is the UK Private Business Leader for PwC, where she heads up the firm's 650+ strong private business team.
Based in the North West, Emma joined PwC as Tax Partner in 2016 and has almost 25 years of experience in providing tax advice to clients, both businesses and their owners. Emma’s clients range from startups through to multi-million pound turnover well established private and family businesses, where she supports them on matters including, refinancing, making acquisitions, expanding overseas, moving into private equity ownership, preparing to IPO or passing the business on to the next generation.
Emma and her team focus on adding value and committing to delivering practical, commercial advice to businesses and their owners; across audit and tax, technology and data, finance and investment, legal services and governance, people and skills, digital transformation and much more; always drawing on the extensive breadth and depth of expertise and experience within PwC.
During her career she also spent six years advising PE houses on their investments, both transaction structuring and tax due diligence as well as advising management teams in private equity transactions.
