Fiona Carpenter

Fiona Carpenter leads the UK FS Tax practice at PwC. She joined PwC in August 2017 as a partner specialising in alternative asset management and has a wealth of experience in tax structuring and compliance for alternative funds and managers.

Fiona was previously at Ernst & Young where she was first appointed partner in 2006 and held various roles including UK asset management tax leader.

From 2010 to 2013, Fiona was the Chief Financial Officer for a boutique asset manager. This provided her with an appreciation of the wider regulatory, legal and commercial issues impacting alternative asset managers.

Fiona has also served as a member of the governing body of the Alternative Investment Management Association, elected by the industry members.
