Gillian is a respected leader with a talent for bringing people together and a reputation for getting to the core of issues and delivering pragmatic solutions. She is a fellow of the ICAEW with over 30 years experience in Restructuring and has held senior roles in most of the significant UK insolvencies during that period.
Gillian has expertise in complex legal and financial structures and excels at stripping away peripheral complexities to get to the nub of an issue and, with a background qualification in law, she is well placed to look at issues from both legal and financial perspectives. Gillian is currently one of the three Joint Administrators across the Lehman UK group where she has led a series of billion pound court cases to resolve questions around relative priorities between holders of various tranches of senior and subordinated debt, together with questions around the interaction of US bankruptcy law and English insolvency law.
Gillian is quick thinking and straight talking and commands the respect of clients and stakeholders. She is experienced in advising clients with regard to their internal processes and has created restructuring solutions achieving significant cost savings with improved efficiencies.
