Iwan Griffiths co-leads the Japan Business Network at PwC in the UK and has worked and lived in Japan for 7 years (2008-2012; 2020-2023). He has almost 30 years experience working with clients in London, Manchester, Seoul and Tokyo.
He supports Japanese businesses with operations in the UK and Europe, working closely with colleagues in Japan. In addition, as a non-executive director of two businesses he brings board level experience to his clients.
Iwan has spent much of his career working in the banking and capital markets sector, including leading the firm’s banking regulatory practice in London from 2003 to 2005. He brings an international perspective to his clients, an extensive global and UK network, and served as a non-executive director for two companies based in the UK, bringing board level experience to his clients.
He graduated from the University of Warwick in Economics and Politics and attained a postgraduate certificate in education from the Institute of Education, University of London.
