Karen is a Director in PwC in our Corporate Finance team, with over 21 years of experience.

Karen leads our advice to both public and private sector clients across Education and Student Accommodation.

She specialises in providing advice to clients seeking to undertake:

• Capital Projects - Strategic, financial and commercial advice in relation to large and complex campus development and real estate projects or service transformation
• Capital Raising / Refinancing - Strategic and transactional advice and support in relation to raising capital and / or refinancing existing facilities - both equity and debt
• Mergers & Acquisitions - Sell side and buy side support for disposals or acquisitions in the education or student accommodation sectors as well as strategic and transactional advice and support for education institutions seeking to merge.

Karen has a strong appreciation of the required governance process that institutions must comply with, the importance of achieving and demonstrating best value in transactions and the need for effective stakeholder management.
