Liz Connolly

Liz leads the South Region Professional Partnership Practice for Tax Services. Liz has over 20 years' experience advising both international partnerships and their partners.

Liz is a specialist in both helping partnerships set up in the UK or UK firms setting up in other countries and has a particular specialism in advising on UK-US tax issues. She has led multiple domestic/cross border/transatlantic mergers and works closely with PwC's Global Law Firm network to deliver 'one stop shop' coordinated tax service for our clients, ensuring a tax efficient and commercial structure for firms and their partners. 

Liz led PwC’s Global law firm Brexit taskforce working across multiple territories, with multiple regulatory authorities and even providing advice to the U.K. government in its Brexit planning. 

Liz also leads PwC's national law firm partner compliance services team; she will also lead complex advisory matters, such as remittance planning, foreign tax credits etc for these individual clients. 

Liz also has experience working within the Senior Management team of a Magic Circle Law firm and a mid-tier law firm, with responsibility for the international tax function in each.
