Lucas Penfold

Lucas is a Senior Manager in PwC's Financial Services Regulatory Insights team, helping financial services clients navigate and respond to the emerging regulatory environment. He is currently primarily focused on ESG and sustainable finance, including the Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation, the Green Taxonomy, and TCFD. Lucas also has expertise in capital markets regulation, notably MiFID II. Prior to joining the firm in 2018, he worked in the Markets Policy department at the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) on a range of wholesale markets issues and was a representative on various IOSCO and ESMA policy-making committees. Lucas began his career as a Policy Adviser at HM Treasury, working on a number of EU economic and financial policy areas.
