Matt Joel

Matt is a Partner in the Forensic Technology group and is an experienced forensic technologist specialising in electronic disclosure and computer forensics. Matt supports clients by collecting virtually any source of electronic data in order to quickly identify, search and disclose the information for the purposes of litigation, arbitration, investigation and regulatory compliance in a reasonable and commercially viable manner.

Matt coordinates with clients, lawyers, regulators and government agencies such as the Department of Justice (DOJ), Financial Services Authority (FSA), Office of Fair Trading (OFT), Serious Fraud Office (SFO), the EU Commission and the Commodities Futures Trading Commission (CFTC).

Matt has lead a number of complex electronic disclosure engagements across various industry sectors. Matt is experienced in managing the cross border capture, management and analysis of vast quantities of data where preservation of the evidential integrity of the data was paramount.
