Richard is a Director in PwC’s Working Capital Management team. He specialises in hands-on operational delivery of cash release and cost reduction improvements across the working capital cycle, with a particular focus on the customer-to-cash cycle from lead generation through to cash collection.

Richard is a qualified accountant with over 11 years working capital experience across a variety of sectors (Technology, Telco, Utilities, Energy, Financial Services, Consumer, Automotive, Manufacturing, Public Health) with a focus on delivering results at pace and embedding sustainable change. Richard has experience of working with clients in both domestic and international markets including UK, Ireland, US, Canada, China, Japan, Germany, Spain, Netherlands, Turkey and Romania.

Selected experience:

• Global tech firm - Recently led operational excellence and customer success projects for 5 territories of a FTSE100 multinational enterprise software company. Projects focussed on improving front and back-office Lead-to-Cash performance and have delivered a combined annual recurring revenue uplift of €35m and an average 20% reduction in aged debt.
• Global tech firm - Delivered a $40m working capital improvement for a major global technology business. The project focused on improvements across collections, contract negotiation, supplier management and inventory optimisation across Europe, Asia and North America.
