Richard Williams

Richard is a tax partner in London and leads the Real Assets tax business for PwC in the UK.  Richard  advises on the set up and operation of pan-European and Global investment funds and platforms, and direct and indirect real estate acquisitions in the UK and across Europe. 

Richard’s areas of expertise include matters relating to the acquisition of real estate assets or real estate rich vehicles or platforms in the UK and across the EU, the ongoing taxation of these, exit strategies, and financing and cash repatriation.

Richard is a regular speaker at conferences on matters such as tax law change and the impact of the OECD’s BEPS initiative. 

Richard’s client base includes sovereign wealth funds, high profile multinationals, private equity funds, institutions, pension funds, and REITs.
