Sarah is a Director in PwC’s NewLaw team. She is an experienced Financial Services transactional lawyer, with a focus on Banking and Finance work.
Sarah qualified as a Solicitor in 2001 and worked in private practice for magic circle law firms in London, and a leading South African law firm in Johannesburg, before moving in-house in 2013. Her in-house roles were as sole legal counsel at a specialist investment firm (asset manager advising CLOs) and later as an in-house banking lawyer at a global investment bank in London.
Sarah is specialised as a banking/lending lawyer, with a focus on cross-border transactional work throughout her career. She has particular experience in real estate finance, leveraged finance and restructurings in addition to bilateral (committed and uncommitted) and syndicated corporate lending. She brings this depth of experience, and industry knowledge, to her role at PwC where she leads teams providing managed legal services and working on large-scale contract review and remediation programmes.
