Simon Borwick

Simon is a Partner in the cyber security practice at PwC, and leads the team focused on the telecoms, media and technology industries. With over 12 years experience in cyber and information security, he specializes in enabling organisations these high tech industries to develop strategies put cyber security at the heart of their business, with pragmatic and effective risk management and security.

Simon has defined the cyber security strategy and led the execution of large change programmes at some of the largest, globally distributed technology organisations, and has a wide range of experience of the challenges and solutions facing large tech-enabled corporates, particularly working with CFO and COO stakeholders to embed cyber security more effectively in their business. Recent client engagements range from performing a global assessment of one of the world’s largest cloud software companies, and defining their 2025 cyber strategy, to leading a multi-million dollar gobal security transformation, to advising an HR tech company on the build of their cyber incident detection and response capabilities.
