Steve Blackmore

Steve is a consulting actuary with 25 years’ experience of advising clients on all aspects of their pension arrangements. Steve works with a broad range of clients ranging from FTSE100 listed organisations to charities.

His work includes:

• Helping clients develop their long term pensions strategy including redesigning benefits, negotiating funding with trustees and supporting on implementing an appropriate asset strategy all the way through to buyout;
• Working with European businesses to help them understand their UK pensions exposure and to take action when necessary
• Supporting employers in the Third Sector who participate in public sector and industry wide schemes including LGPS, SHPS and TPS
• Driving growth in our defined contribution and benefits practice by supporting clients as they look to use their employee benefits package to build engagement with their colleagues.

Steve consistently receives feedback that his approach of listening and understanding a client’s needs first and then designing a tailored solution to meet their specific requirements helps deliver the best for his clients.
