PSD2 came into force on 13 January 2018, it sets out new requirements for dispute resolution, including significant revisions to timeframes under which complaints related to payments services must be resolved. In addition there are also new complaint reporting requirements, which will come into effect on 13 July 2018.
In response to the requirements firms will need to consider a number of immediate impacts, such as how they identify and triage PSD2 complaints, alongside longer term operational considerations.
