The need to transform education
Rapid technology change is disrupting and transforming the higher education sector. Driven by their seamless and personalised digital consumer lifestyle experiences, student expectations are changing, and universities must evolve to compete and stay relevant.
But the student experience doesn’t currently match these expectations. Almost two-thirds of students say they have a poor experience when accessing their university’s digital resources. Seven out of ten students consider dropping out of university. And in the UK alone, student dropouts are costing universities £1.6 billion a year.
Institutions need to find solutions that help improve efficiency and reduce costs as well as providing a personalised, intuitive and flexible experience for a new generation of students.
With the right technology in place, the higher education sector can do more than transform. It can be transformative.
