Procurement Act: What does the new Act mean for you?

Following the success of our Breakfast Briefings last November, PwC are running a series of client facing workshops to help you and your department prepare for the Procurement Act ahead of this October.

These workshops are free to attend, and will explore what the changes mean for you and your organisation. These sessions are targeted at Central Government departments.

• Workshop 1: Making best use of the freedom
  Date: 17th April 2024 - 9-11am
  Location: PwC More London, 7 More London, London, SE1 2RT
  
  We will explore the top-down opportunities the new procurement freedoms will present and discuss the organisational changes which need to be enacted to realise these opportunities, covering topics such as process, systems, people, and the market.
• Workshop 2: Owning the narrative regarding the Procurement Act and managing key stakeholders
  Date: 22nd April 2024 - 9-11am

  A workshop to explore why seeking to ‘own the narrative’ across different stakeholder groups will be critical to drive the required changes and how you might go about this.
• Workshop 3: Data and systems - understand the changes
  Date: 2nd May 2024 - 9-11am
  Location: PwC Embankment place, 1 Embankment Place, London, WC2N 6RH
  
  We will explore the role that data and systems will play in supporting the delivery of the provisions in the Act and what underpinning enablers will need to be in place to drive improved and enhanced data and system capabilities.
• Workshop 4: Procurement Act implementation plan workshop
  Date: 20th May 2024 - 9-11am
  Location: PwC More London, 7 More London, London, SE1 2RT
  
  A workshop focused on how to successfully plan for implementing change in response to the Procurement Act. The workshop will bring together different organisations experiencing similar challenges, to share and discuss details of their proposed Procurement Act implementation plans, with a view of sharing lessons, successes and anticipated challenges. Organisation will be asked to prepare a short template ahead of the sessions, providing a summary of their plans to date against key topics.
