PwC UK has announced that Lewis Bretts has joined as a Partner in its Legal Technology team, who provide innovative, tech-focused and efficient solutions for corporate legal departments. Lewis brings specific experience in building and delivering global legal technology, CLM, and managed legal services solutions, and will focus on PwC UK’s AI, legal technology and managed legal services offering.
Lewis’ admission to the Partnership is the latest investment in the firm’s legal technology offering as our clients adapt to an era of advancing technology, new business models and evolving client expectations.
Previously, Lewis served as the COO and Chief Legal Engineer of legal technology and operations consultancy SYKE, and subsequently as US Group Managing Director of Bowmark backed LOD Group which operates in the ALSP space, where he led the development of the group's US business prior to its acquisition by Consilio LLC.
As PwC increases its investment in the legal technology space, Lewis’ arrival follows two director appointments in the team, Rahul Raina and Abilash Unny, underscoring PwC UK’s continued investment across its legal services and further enhancing the team’s capabilities in legal technology and innovation.
Last year PwC announced global partnerships and alliances with a number of leading technology providers in the legal technology and artificial intelligence space.
Lewis Bretts, PwC UK partner, said:
