PwC UK today announces the promotion of 63 new partners from 1 July 2021.
Promotions have taken place across each of the firm’s business divisions (Audit, Consulting, Deals, Risk and Tax), with the firm’s Deals practice welcoming the largest numbers of new promotes, with 18 new partners. This reflects strong ongoing demand for PwC’s Deals services and is an investment in talented leaders to support clients as the UK experiences a deals-led recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic.
The new cohort also reflects rapidly growing client demand in areas such as ESG, with new partners focused on Net Zero strategy, diversity and inclusion priorities, corporate governance, and transformation. Last week, PwC announced plans to invest $1.2bn in the UK over the next three to four years, in areas including ESG and technology, with a focus on creating 4,000 new jobs, expanding our business from 22,000 to 26,000.
Kevin Ellis, Chairman and Senior Partner, PwC UK commented:
“We are committed to investing in the future of our business and I am delighted to congratulate and welcome this talented group of new partners. The role of leaders has never been more important and, as we look ahead, these new appointments will further strengthen our partnership. They represent the diverse skills we need to continue to grow sustainably while supporting our clients and people as they respond to unique challenges and opportunities.”
Ends.
