PwC Strengthens Tax Team with Senior Hire

PwC Midlands has welcomed Andy Ray to its tax line of service as a Director. 

Andy brings over 17 years’ experience having previously been employed at HMRC in a variety of roles, including working on cases of suspected fraud and tax avoidance, being responsible for running compliance business areas and managing the tax affairs of some of the UK's largest corporate businesses. 

Based in PwC’s Birmingham office, Andy will be part of the tax disputes network, helping businesses to effectively manage their interactions with HMRC. His experience of the tax industry will provide expertise and valuable insight for clients in the Midlands and across the UK. 

Speaking about his new role, Andy Ray, PwC Tax Director, said:
