PwC has admitted eight new partners and promoted ten new directors in the South East as of 1 July, bringing the total to 1,057 partners across the UK.
PwC continues to focus on bringing a more diverse group of people into leadership roles across the UK. This year 38% of the newly promoted partners were based outside of London, compared to 30% last year. In the South East, over a third of the new partners and 60% of the new directors are women.
Claire Turner and Imran Younus have assumed the position of Partners within the South East Audit practice in Reading, while Alex Upton has been appointed as an Audit Partner in Watford. Additionally, in the Deals line of service, Matt Curry in Watford, Minesh Rana and Matt Tomlinson in Reading have been appointed as Partners.
The South East Risk practice welcomes a new Partner in Enterprises, based in Reading- Laura Kelly - while Kate Conibere has been promoted to Tax Deals Partner in Watford.
PwC has also named ten new directors in the South East region, six of whom are female. They are Cathryn Hetherington, who specialises in consulting in Cambridge; Watford-based Emma Holmes, Sue Hardinges and Jennifer Dolinsky who work in audit; Southampton-based auditors Emily Peters, Matthew Taplin and Nathan Smith; technology & innovation specialist Rosie Hall and audit professionals Alex Massey and Ashwan Gupta, all based in Reading.
