PwC UK announces the appointment of National Technology Sector Leader Gareth Murfitt as new Market Senior Partner for Reading

PwC has recently announced the appointment of Gareth Murfitt as the new Market Senior Partner for its Reading office.

Gareth has been with the firm for 23 years, and alongside being an audit partner, he is currently the UK Technology Sector Leader. During his career he has worked with some of the largest UK and US Listed Technology companies, as well as fast growing start-ups and Private Equity backed companies at the forefront of AI, robotics and the Metaverse.

John Ellis, who is stepping down as Market Senior Partner for Reading after five years in the role, has been instrumental in leading the Reading office through the pandemic, engaging with our people and supporting growth in the Reading market. John will now be taking on the role of Audit leader for the South East.

Commenting on his appointment, Gareth Murfitt said:
