PwC has named Ben Pykett as the Market Senior Partner for its Bristol practice, replacing Tom Ayerst, who will continue to lead the firm’s Deals practice in the West of England.
Cities across the South West of England lead PwC’s 2024 Good Growth for Cities Index, with Plymouth and Bristol the highest and second-highest performing cities respectively.

Having been ranked as the best region in the UK for women in the workplace for three consecutive years, the South West has dropped to second place in PwC’s Women in Work Index. Northern Ireland moves into first place, thanks to the lowest female unemployment rate and gender pay gap in the UK.
