The PwC Raise | Ventures team is pleased to announce that it has advised the people centric mental health platform Plumm in securing a £2.2m investment from IW Capital.
Plumm is a fast-growing B2B business providing employers with innovative software to deliver mental health support for employees. Plumm provides an integrated people-centric software platform where employees can seek personalised therapy and coaching sessions, self-help resources and group learning. Every wellbeing resource available on the Plumm platform is exclusive and produced in-house by accredited therapists, coaches, and mental health specialists.
Plumm has attracted a client base including, but not limited to Treatwell, XE, Aster Group, Oyster HR, and Innocent Drinks. The investment will be used to grow the partnerships, sales and marketing teams, deliver on pipeline opportunities, and expand operations in the UK and internationally. The funds will be instrumental in delivering Plumm’s long-term vision to expand their offering, and grow within the UK, and internationally in the EU, Middle East, and US.
The PwC team advising on the deal are Cara Haffey, Thomas Hudson, Sam Taylor, and Jai Khajuria.
Thomas Hudson, PwC Raise | Ventures Head of Series A, said:
“Providing mental health support is essential in today's fast-paced and highly stimulating digital environment. Plumm has done a fantastic job in addressing these issues within medium-large corporations resulting in rapid traction and a notable key selling point being their unique proprietary content. Collaborating with Asim, Nabil, and Rakshi has been a pleasure and we anticipate further supporting Plumm as they continue to scale.”
Sam Taylor, PwC Raise | Ventures Manager, added:
“Asim and Plumm’s co-founder Nabil have been a pleasure to work with and I look forward to staying plugged in as the team capitalise on their added funding to continue their already impressive growth trajectory.”
Alex Petri, investment director at IW Capital, said:
“We’re pleased to be investing in Plumm as the company continues to grow in the UK and internationally. At IW Capital, we focus on backing businesses that are doing important work in growing markets, and it was clear that Plumm is well poised to expand their offering, having built a great platform to serve the underserved and expanding mental health market. We are thrilled to be working with Plumm on the next stage of their growth journey.”
“PwC has been an exceptional partner in our journey of closing our Series A investment round. We couldn’t have asked for a better team to guide us through this process. We’re excited about the opportunities it provides to Plumm. This will help us achieve the next stage of our growth, as we double down on innovating through the application of people-centric AI technologies.
