Mark James Tobias Banfield, Ross David Connock and Peter David Dickens were appointed as Joint Administrators of Cornwall Caravan Park Limited, Redvers and Denzil Rice Farms Limited and Henfold Country Park Ltd (“the Companies”) on 28 December 2023.
Cornwall Caravan Parks Limited’s principal activity was the operation of a park home storage facility. It owns land and buildings formerly operated as a holiday park site called Old Kerrow, which has been established as a holiday park for over 20 years.
Henfold Country Park Limited’s primary activity is that of a property company, which owned a holiday park called Henfold.
Redvers and Denzil Rice Farms Limited’s principal activity was the operation of a holiday park called Stowford, located in North Devon.
The Companies are part of the RoyaleLife bungalow and caravan parks group (“the Royale Group”).
On appointment, the Joint Administrators completed the sale of the Companies’ businesses and assets to Stowford Propco Limited, Old Kerrow Propco Limited and Henfold Propco Limited. The sale represents the best available outcome for creditors as a whole in all the circumstances. The transaction preserved the jobs of all 40 employees, significantly mitigating preferential claims in the administrations. The sale also maximised the value in the Companies’ fixed assets (land and properties) for the benefit of the Companies secured creditors, which would have been significantly diminished in the event the Companies were wound up.
All employees transferred to the purchasers under TUPE.
