On 24 August 2011 Rob Hunt and Matthew Hammond were appointed joint administrators of Parkridge Holdings Limited and Parkridge Gate Developments Limited, the former by virtue of a fixed and floating charge debenture held by ProLogis Germany and the latter by order of the Court.
Parkridge Holdings Limited is the ultimate parent of a wider group of companies located in the UK and across Europe. The Group is a large property developer with a range of property assets from speculative sites to residential and retail developments.
In the months before our appointment the Group sought to enter into a range of transactions aimed at ensuring its survival, focusing on the disposal of Polish property interests. However before this deal was completed a series of winding up petitions were heard against a number of companies in the Group on 24 August 2011. The administrators worked with directors of certain subsidiaries to complete a transaction for the Polish assets, and with the secured creditors to deal with the other assets owned across the Group. On appointment 21 employees were made redundant.
The administrators believed the purpose of the administration has been achieved and in accordance with the administrators’ proposals and Paragraph 83(1) of Schedule B1 to the Insolvency Act 1986, Form 2.34B and a final progress report were submitted to the Registrar of Companies. These documents were registered and the Companies have been placed into Creditors Voluntary Liquidation (“CVL”). Robert Jonathan Hunt and David Matthew Hammond were appointed joint liquidators with effect from 28th March 2012.
David Robert Baxendale replaced Robert Jonathan Hunt as joint liquidator with effect from 8 November 2016.
