ER Travel Services - in administration ("the Company")

Ross Connock and Peter Dickens were appointed as joint administrators of the Company on 27 February 2020. Immediately following the administration appointment, the Company’s business and assets were sold, including a transfer of all employees.

Established in 2009, ER Travel Services Ltd (trading as Easirent) was a leading low cost car rental business operating across 23 branches, primarily at airport locations, with 252 members of staff. The business had head offices based in Liverpool and a repair centre in Haydock. It faced a number of issues through 2019, including increased competition from new market entrants and a depressed second hand vehicle market. This led to significant liquidity pressures and with no alternative funding available the directors instigated a sale process.
