If, having read this information you still believe you are owed monies, unfortunately we have now passed the date for claims to be submitted and you can no longer claim for unfulfilled or defective orders.

Are Harveys and Bensons continuing to trade?

  • All Harvey’s stores have now ceased to trade.
  • Benson for Beds is continuing to trade, following the Purchasers acquisition of the business from the joint administrators.

I made a purchase from Harvey's store after 1 July 2020.

The deadline for submitting claims in respect of purchases made for this period has now passed.

What will happen to my finance agreement?

  • Existing finance agreements for purchases from Bensons/Harveys are not affected. Your finance agreement is between you and the finance provider.  You should contact the finance provider if you have any queries but our expectation is that this will continue as normal and you should continue to make payments as normal.

  • If you have any issues with payments under the finance agreement those should be directed to the finance provider and not the Companies in administration.

I have bought a product that was faulty/damaged. What about my warranty?

  • Bensons for Beds

    • As part of purchase of the Bensons for Beds business, the Purchasers have formally agreed to honour any pre-administration warranties.

  • Harvey’s Furniture

    • The deadline for submitting claims in respect of purchases made for this period has now passed.

I purchased a Care and Protect Insurance Policy for my furniture. What happens to the cover?

If you took out an insurance policy at the time of purchase (commonly referred to as a “Care and Protect” policy), your cover is still valid and your ability to make a claim under your policy is not affected. Claims notification procedures have not changed, please refer to your policy wordings by following the relevant link below. Any claims or policy queries can be addressed by the claims administrator.
