If you've had a notification letter from the RPS, please carefully read which claim element has been rejected. For example, if you've claimed Holiday taken but not paid, this will be rejected on the basis that your claim should be for holiday accrued but not taken. A rejection of part of your claim doesn't mean that your entire claim has been rejected.
If you have any queries regarding a rejection letter received and you're uncertain about what this means, please contact the RPS in the first instance
We have also now provided information regarding holiday pay entitlement to the RPS. The RPS will calculate the number of days that be paid for any carry forward balances, if you've got any queries in relation to how your holiday payment is calculated please speak to the RPS so they can explain what caps and limits have been applied to your claim.
If you disagree with how your holiday pay claim is calculated you'll need to provide evidence to support your annual entitlement, days carry forward and days taken.
