Employee update - 09.10.2024

We have been made aware that a number of former employees have received a letter from the Redundancy Payments Service ('RPS'), that their redundancy payment has been incorrectly capped.

We have been in contact with the RPS and they have advised us that there is a technical issue at their end which they are in the process of resolving.

In the meantime, should you wish to discuss and/or contact the RPS directly, they can be contacted on telephone number 0330 331 0020.

It is with regret that some immediate redundancies were announced. Please refer to the FAQ sheet linked below for further information.

Partnership Action for Continuing Employment (PACE) 

PACE is the Scottish Government's initiative to support those dealing with redundancy. PACE provides free, confidential advice to help you with your next steps. 

PACE is a partnership of 24 organisations that provide personal and impartial expert advice and help you to manage the stress which naturally comes with redundancy.

Aiming to minimise the time people affected by redundancy are out of work, PACE support covers five

key areas:

• understanding the redundancy process, including rights and entitlements

• money matters, including benefits and pensions

• practical advice on getting a new job

• career guidance services, including identifying learning, training and funding opportunities

• business start-up and self-employment
