Client money update - High Court Application: Re-scheduled Hearing 18/06/2009

This update concerns the application issued by the Joint Administrators on 1 May 2009 concerning LBIE's obligations in relation to the handling of client money received prior to the time of administration (the "Application").

The Court has now confirmed that the hearing on the Application which was scheduled for 10.30am on 19 June 2009 has been relisted for 10.30am on 15 and 16 July 2009.  The purpose of rescheduling the hearing is to accommodate requests received from clients and creditors for more time in order to consider their position and to permit the Joint Administrators to liaise with the many clients and creditors who have notified them that they wish to make representations to the Court in respect of the Application.

If you have notified the Joint Administrators of your interest in making representations, the Joint Administrators' representatives will contact you shortly.
