Shareholders

Trading in shares of McColl's Retail Group PLC (“McColl’s”) was suspended on 6 May 2022. Unfortunately, as a result of the Company going into administration, there will not be a return to McColl’s shareholders.  No further dividends will be paid.

McColl’s shareholders or investors with unsettled trades should direct any queries regarding the resolution of their trades to their broker.

It is expected that McColl’s will be delisted from the London Stock Exchange shortly.  This will not affect a shareholding as such and shareholders will continue to own the shares. The shares will not be permitted to trade on the exchange.

As a result of the administration, the AGM due to be held on the 31 May 2022 will no longer take place.

Shareholders should be aware of potential scams in the form of third parties offering to dispose of their shares, in exchange for the up-front payment of fees. Please refer to the following website regarding how to avoid and report share scams: https://www.fca.org.uk/consumers

Shareholders should seek independent advice given their own circumstances and speak with their tax adviser.

The Administrators will be publishing their proposals for achieving the statutory purposes of administration in the few weeks following appointment. A copy of those proposals will be available on this website.
