The Financial Services Lead Advisory team combines deep industry knowledge and transaction experience to advise on all aspects of corporate finance M&A and, through the Portfolio Advisory Group, credit related transactions. The team leverages more than 6,000 PwC people in the U.K. and 60,000 PwC people globally who work day in day out with financial services clients.
Our coverage model extends right across the global financial services landscape including banking and alternative lending, asset and wealth management, trust and fiduciary services, insurance, fintech, and all other businesses within the financial services ecosystem.
Embedded in our approach is the use of the latest technological solutions covering, for example, advanced data analytics and visualisation tools, interactive information memoranda, real time process management and meeting scheduling tools. All of these tools are focused on improving the efficiency of how we work collaboratively with you and ensuring we deliver to you the best possible outcome.
We have a global investor reach with deep and trusted senior relationships at financial services corporates, private equity funds, credit funds, fintech VCs, special opportunity funds and sovereign wealth funds. The team has separate desks covering investors from emerging markets, Asia-Pacific, sovereign wealth and institutional investor groups.
We work with our clients throughout the entire M&A lifecycle from developing inorganic growth plans and identifying targets to transaction execution and post completion implementation of value creation plans. We ensure no value is left on the table by drawing together specialist support from across our Deals practice.
The Portfolio Advisory Group advises on all aspects of credit related transactions:
We advise on credit and capital and capital strategies available to you to allow you to maximise the return on capital employed. We will work with you to implement your chosen strategies which may include:
We provide independent support and advice to management teams on management equity incentives in all sizes of private equity, sovereign wealth fund or infrastructure fund backed transactions.
Alongside tax and other relevant colleagues we work with management teams to understand their objectives and priorities as well as explaining market norms, structuring alternatives and the key value drivers of an incentive package.
In our experience, negotiating and sculpting an incentive package that is within market norms enhances deal deliverability and allows for a timely and efficient transaction process whilst also achieving the best result for the team and their financial sponsor.
