PwC is pleased to announce that it has provided Lead Advisory and Restructuring support to The Karali Group in their strategic investment and acquisition of 46 Taco Bell restaurants.
Taco Bell, a fast food chain operated by franchisees and owned by Yum! Brands, is renowned for its variety of Mexican-inspired foods and specialty items. The Karali Group, led by Salim Janmohamed and Karim Janmohamed, acquired the 46 operating locations and assets of T Bello Group Ltd and T Bello UK Ltd and the acquisition ensures the retention of approximately 650 staff members.
Karali is a multi-geographic, family-owned business with over four decades of experience in the fast-food, casual dining and hospitality businesses across leading brands. Karali grew the largest independent UK Burger King franchise, before successfully selling this franchise business in 2022. Beyond its extensive UK market expertise, Karali also operates in the North American market, managing Burger King locations in Ohio and Pennsylvania and owns the premium London chain, Crosstown. The Karali Group is committed to supporting the continued operations and future expansion of the Taco Bell brand in the UK.
