PwC Lead Advisory has advised CBPE Capital (“CBPE”) on its significant investment in FSP Corporate Limited (“FSP”), a fast-growing provider of digital transformation services.
The deal has enabled FSP’s simultaneous acquisition of leading cyber security consultancy Savanti Limited (“Savanti”), strengthening its capabilities in cyber services to its growing portfolio of customers. The combined business is expected to generate revenues of around £30m in the current year and employ over 250 digital transformation and cyber specialists.
Reading-based FSP provides a range of consultancy services to large companies and public sector organisations spanning digital transformation, cloud engineering, data and artificial intelligence and cyber security. Its people-centric approach has seen the business win numerous awards in recognition of its outstanding workplace culture. It is currently ranked #1 Best Mid-Sized Company to Work For in the UK by Best Companies™.
Savanti is a strategic cyber security consultancy with a team of almost 50 experts from its base in London. Their expertise spans cyber security strategy, security leadership, architecture design, identity and security risk assessments for enterprise clients.
Both companies grew revenues by c.50% in their most recent trading year.
PwC acted as lead financial adviser to CBPE - with the PwC Corporate Finance team on the deal consisting of Dan Gallagher, Shahbaz Qasim, Garth Arenz, Ben Stanbridge, and Emily Fielder. Tax structuring services were provided by Matt Woolgar, Jessica Yin-Moore, Dale Sunderland and Freddie Burton.
PwC also provided financial due diligence services to the vendors, led by Russell Taylor and supported by James Goodband and Ernest Tan, as well as tax due diligence services, led by Carrie Hale and supported by Hannah Windsor.
