PwC Corporate Finance advises on the sale of Kapow Primary
The PwC Corporate Finance team is delighted to announce the sale of Kapow Primary Limited ("Kapow"), a UK-based digital educational content company, to a UK Family Office, who have co-invested with the current management team.
Founded in 2018 and headquartered in London, Kapow is a rapidly growing, subscription based technology platform that empowers teachers with the knowledge and confidence to engage and inspire their pupils. Kapow’s team of passionate, specialist teachers focus on creating content that addresses the lack of resources for foundation subjects, and helps classroom teachers teach non-core subjects with confidence. Today, Kapow is the market leading structured and curated resource hub for educators serving over 6,200 schools in the UK.
PwC Corporate Finance acted as lead financial adviser to ScaleUp Capital and the minority shareholders - the PwC team advising on the deal was Tim Armstrong, Chris Whitehead, James Walker and Theo Hill.
