PwC Corporate Finance advises the shareholders of John Mitchell Group Limited on their sale to Gregory Distribution (Holdings) Limited

The PwC Corporate Finance team is pleased to announce that it has advised the shareholders of John Mitchell Group Limited (“JMG”) on the sale to Gregory Distribution (Holdings) Limited (“Gregory Group”).

John Mitchell Group, established in 1956, is one of Scotland’s premier family-owned specialist logistics, haulage and warehousing companies. JMG’s prime location next to Forth Ports, Grangemouth connects the business directly to Scotland’s largest port with strategically important access to major road and rail routes. JMG provides services to a wide range of customers including in the construction, aggregates, petrochemicals and Scotch Whisky industries across the UK.

The buyer, Gregory Group, is one of the foremost privately held logistics and distribution companies in the UK. With a rich history dating back to 1919, the company has grown from a regionally focused family-run business into a significant player in the UK logistics sector. The company is headquartered in Devon and operates across the UK.

The JMG acquisition represents a key milestone in Gregory’s continued growth journey to become one of the UK’s leading players in the logistics industry. Following the acquisition, Gregory will continue to support the wider management team to expand the business and accelerate growth.
