PwC Strategic workforce planning | Optimise employee experience, manage people risks, understand gender pay gap, structure exec pay, drive inclusion & diversity
The well-documented cost of living crisis, combined with a general increase in the cost of doing business has made decisions on pay levels difficult for businesses. As a result, organisations are diverging in their approaches to talent attraction and retention.
As the economic conditions begin to stabilise, and inflation starts to fall, getting a clear sense of your pay position in the market for key employees will be more valuable than ever. In this context, it will be important for Remuneration Committees to consider the pay and conditions for employees in the wider workforce when making pay decisions for senior executives. Organisations operating in the listed sector are also faced with additional pressure from shareholders and proxy voting agencies to demonstrate restraint in the current trading environment.
Issues like these are what drives PwC to collect executive and senior management and remuneration data from invited participants for benchmarking of pay package elements.
