I am Richard Williams, a grant funding director, and I help businesses identify and secure cash grants in the UK and beyond.

The challenges of Net Zero and shifting geopolitical concerns are making countries much more willing to support business investment with grant funding.

In the UK, the government and devolved administrations offer a wide range of grant incentives, which are aimed at encouraging investment, innovation and the green transition. These can provide large companies with funding worth up to 30-50% of project costs.

This can make a real difference to the economics of a project, but it’s important to be thinking about grants early in the process. Typically, the government will only fund projects that haven’t yet been committed to by the business and early discussions with government and other stakeholders can be critical to the success of funding applications.

Beyond the UK, we work with a global network of specialists with expertise in the incentives offered in the EU, US and beyond. They can help give you insight into investment choices and opportunities across the world.

At PwC, we can help you navigate available grants and find opportunities tailored to your plans. Our support can then help you secure the funding that makes a difference to your business.
