We were engaged by Baker Hughes to help them meet the increasing demand for energy while accelerating towards a cleaner, more sustainable future.
We had an ambition to enable the company to quickly implement a carbon reduction programme and meet a 2030 target of reducing its operational emissions by 50%.
We embedded a team within Baker Hughes to ensure there was close collaboration when it came to defining and driving the plan.
As a result of our work with the company, Baker Hughes has achieved a 23% reduction in Scope 1 and 2 emissions since 2019 and its leadership team and workforce is clear on where they focus to achieve further reduction.
Our role continues as we support the company with its transformation from an oil and gas services company to a leading energy technology player for the post-carbon era.
