Hybrid working video transcript

Hi, my name is Amishta, and I’m an Associate within the legal department at PwC, specifically within Legal Entity and Compliance and I’m based in the London Embankment office.

So today was one of my office days, we first started the day with a team huddle. This is usually done with my small client team where we go through the plan of the day and sort out any urgent transactions.

Following this I then had some meetings with both the client and some internally, I  had a few catch ups with my friends, a lovely lunch outside in Embankment gardens and now I’m getting ready to do some drafting… sounds like my team is calling me.

Client site days are really important not only because it means we’re able to go through any issues face-to-face but also because we’re able to build a natural rapport with our clients which is pivotal for a meaningful relationship.

On Monday’s I tend to work from home because we have college and on Thursday that’s our team day so we all tend to be in.

I love working from home days, my working from home days make me feel more motivated - whether it's having a few more hours to help cook dinner or whether it's just running errands during the day, you just feel a lot more free.

Working from home makes me feel like I can facilitate a better balance. So for example on Wednesday’s I play tennis. Working from home and PwC’s flexible working hours means I can log off early and be at my local tennis club within minutes.
