Our Carbon Reduction Plan has been produced in line with PPN 06/21 and the associated guidance and reporting standard for Carbon Reduction Plans.
Our carbon emissions are relatively low compared to many sectors, as we set out in our statement on climate-related financial risk. However, they’re our biggest environmental impact, and we want to play our part in contributing to the UK Government’s targets of reaching net zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050.
We’ve offset our carbon emissions as reported in each financial year since 2007, enabling us to be carbon neutral. We’ve achieved this through significantly reducing our greenhouse gas emissions, and purchasing certified carbon credits to offset what remains at the end of each year.
