Mark Batten: Gen AI, we talk about it all the time. We hear it come up in every conversation, and I think frame that in some of the broader global trends that we see. This is all about this impact of technology disruption.

Rob McCargow: Good morning everybody, and delighted to be welcoming you here today to our offices for this hugely important discussion.

Theo Michalopoulos: We, as Microsoft, think that this technology will transform many things, including the financial industry.

Nina Schick: Our relationship with machines is about to profoundly alter the way that we live, the way that we work, and probably even how we experience what it means to be human.

Sunil Mehta: So this technology has the possibility to create real disruption within organisations. How does that disruption lead to new revenue generation opportunities?

Lilia Christofi: It's a challenge not only from a processing point of view and computation and hardware, but also to develop them in a trustworthy manner where you're getting the right kind of output.

Edward Achtner: What does the office of Applied AI do? We actually build product. So the products, services and capabilities that we've all been talking about today, that is what we do

Emily Prince: From a broader industry standpoint. How do we know what we're looking at is real? How do we know that we can trust the numbers that we see? And so it starts with the data.

Ranil Boteju: This needs to be business led, right? So whilst there's people like me and kind of tech and data teams in the centre, what we decided right from the onset was we wanted the commercialisation to be really led by our p and l on it.

Clare Holley: Co-pilot and generative AI is going to turbocharge the industry and in innovation at large, and we need to think about how we lead in a completely different way.

Theo Michalopoulos: We are working with PWC because of the people, great relationships, because of the capabilities and the skills they have in the market. But above everything about the success we have in our customers, there are so many examples that we have supported our customers transformation journey.

Nina Schick: The Gen AI enabled Bank of the future is going to be very different from the bank we see now. And I think you might start seeing many more innovative products created for customers, for retail banks. And I think that it's a chance to have a new vision for financial democracy for a lot more people.
